When I first found out I was HIV positive, I was neither shocked nor surprised.  

I rather expected it based on the occurance of an accident. 

I wasn't even angry, at first.  

Sometimes, I wonder, why did this happen to me ?  Why couldn't the condom have been stronger?  What could I have done differently?  

But mostly, I just accept it as my lot in life.  

Everything happens for a reason.  All I can do is grow from the experience and share my story with others.  This site is made up of everyday people like you and me who are living with HIV, living positive.
