50 years young – 6th July

 I am going to be 50 years old on the 6th July and I thought would look back over my life. 

On the day I was born, Bobby Darin was Number one in the UK charts with “Dream Lover” :

I personally don’t remember it, but I am sure over the years my past partners have always viewed me as their “Dream Lover ♥“ 

10 years later there was something in the air , I guess I was beings to realize that I was different for the other kids. I was not sure what it was, but I seemed to like boys so much better than girls, I wonder what was that all about? 

Strangely and spookily at the seem time,Thunderclap Newman  was number one in the charts with : 

Along can 1979, 20 years old. By now I had worked out why I was different!!! Over the radio Gary Newman sang out songs about electric friends. I was getting ready to go to the USA -- now that’s another story !!!!!!! 

The next 10 years seemed to fly past. I was back from the USA. I had been diagnosis with HIV and my first partner had died because of PCP. I had expected to die yet here I was still alive.  

My birthday number one is the charts was: 

In 1999 I was looking at being 40, my god how did I get so old? People told me, “life begins at forty!”  So I waited for this “life” that was going to being, but do you know what, is was still that same as before, which was cool. Inside I still felt young, it was hard to put an age on it, just young, not old. And of course I had fallen in love with the, “of course I am straight- Rick Martin, Latin Lover “♥

I know technically he was not Number One on my birthday, but who cares !!!!!! 

In 2004 my life really began. I meet the man who is the love of my life. He loves me for me. He is my rock and he is the one who brings me back to reality. He is patient , kind, forgiving, sexy and my best friend.

As I feel in love with him and this song became the song-track of our courtship. He will forever be to me …………… amazing
